Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WisePicks ("we", "us") handles information when you visit this website.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account. If you sign up for our free Home Water Backup Checklist, we collect the email address you enter, your first name if you choose to give it, and basic signup details (the date, the page you signed up on, and which ad or link brought you to the site). Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the time of your visit.

Cookies and advertising

We may use cookies, pixels or similar tools, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure how our ads perform and to show relevant ads. These tools may collect information about your visit and your device. You can control cookies in your browser settings and manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

Affiliate links

This site contains affiliate links to third-party websites. When you click one, the seller and its payment partners (such as Digistore24) may use cookies to track the referral. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Email signups

When you sign up, we use your email to send you the checklist and a short series of follow-up emails about home water backup, which may include affiliate links to products we review. Your email is stored with our email service provider, which processes it on our behalf. We do not sell or rent your email address.

Unsubscribing: every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you will be removed from our list right away. You can also email us at ancientformularx@gmail.com and ask us to remove or delete your information.
